On October 27, 2005, a Notice of Violation was issued for a Severity Level III problem involving violations of the Byron Station Technical Specifications. Specifically, an engineer engaged in deliberate misconduct when he failed to perform assigned surveillances of ventilation systems and falsified the records to show the surveillances as completed, a violation of 10 CFR 50.9, "Completeness and Accuracy of Information."
